About

Hi, I’m Erin.

Austin-based lime finish artisan and color connoisseur.

I started working with lime plasters in 2022 and fell for the medium immediately. My background is in graphic design, and I’ve spent my career working for major brands in design, branding and marketing — everything from designing and building trade show experiences to stop-motion photography videos, to cookbooks and other multipage, type-heavy layouts. While I love that work and will keep designing everything in my life, I’ve always felt most like myself when I’m making something with my hands. Turning a flat wall into an art piece, a surface with depth and movement — that’s what gives me more than a screen ever has. Starting with a blank canvas and turning it into an immersive experience before your eyes. That’s what brings me the most energy.

These aren’t painted walls. A Veneziano wall is three coats of lime laid on paper-thin, each one its own day, each one worked back with the edge of a trowel before the next goes down. A room takes days. A house takes weeks. And I apply every square foot myself — no crews, no rotation, nobody handing your wall to whoever was free that morning. That’s what you’re paying for, and it isn’t priced like paint.

I run a clear process because the material doesn’t allow a vague one. You’ll know what’s happening, when, and what it costs before anything is opened — the full sequence is on the Start a Project page.

“The best compliment for me is watching when people see my work and say ‘wow, that’s gorgeous,’ and then they simply have to touch it and feel the texture of it. It’s knowing that my own hands made a space not only more beautiful, but a more engaging experience. You see it and you feel it, and hopefully it reminds you that craft work is not dead — true handmade art is still alive, and it still matters.”
